Salon Booking & Client Policy

At House of Kharchier, our aim is to provide an exceptional client experience while maintaining the highest professional standards. To ensure fairness, efficiency, and respect for both our clients and team, the following policy applies to all bookings and all clients.

Booking Confirmation & Card Capture

All appointments require card details at the time of booking.

Your card will not be charged when booking. It is securely held to confirm your appointment in accordance with our cancellation policy.

If you do not confirm your booking when requested, your appointment will not go ahead and may be released to another client.

By providing your card details, you are agreeing to the terms outlined below.

Cancellation Policy
​
Applies to all services.
​
We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
​

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your appointment – No charge

Cancellations made within 24 hours – 50% of the service value will be charged

Failure to attend your appointment (no-show) – 100% of the appointment value will be charged

Late cancellations and missed appointments result in lost appointment time that cannot always be filled. This policy ensures fairness to our team and other clients waiting for availability.
​
Management reserves the right to exercise discretion in exceptional circumstances.
​
Late Arrival Policy
​
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
​

If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment, as lateness affects the rest of the day’s bookings.

It is at our discretion whether your deposit or cancellation fee will be charged in cases of lateness or failure to attend.

Deposits
​
Deposits are required on all colour services within the salon.
​
For example:

Colour appointments require a £50 deposit
​
Deposits are deducted from your final bill on the day of your appointment.
Deposits are subject to our cancellation and lateness policy and may be forfeited if terms are not met.

Colour Services & Clothing
​
For all colour appointments, please wear appropriate clothing.
While every care is taken during your service, House of Kharchier cannot accept responsibility for any damage to clothing.
​
Patch Testing & Consultations
​
Patch testing is required for all new colour clients and must be completed in line with salon policy prior to your appointment.
​
During your consultation and patch test, you must inform us of any:

Allergies

Skin sensitivities
-
Medical conditions
-
Previous reactions to hair colour products
Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect your service.

Client Feedback & Adjustments
​
We take pride in delivering high-quality results and client satisfaction. If you have any questions, feedback, or concerns regarding your service, please contact the salon within 7 days of your appointment.
​
We will arrange for you to return to the salon within 7 days for:

A complimentary adjustment

A full review
-
A professional assessment by one of our experts

If, following assessment, we agree that the standard or outcome of the service does not meet expectations, we will provide a corrective service free of charge.
Please note:

Refunds are not offered.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual displaying inappropriate, disruptive, aggressive, or unsocial behaviour.

By booking an appointment with House of Kharchier, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.

Payments

Payment is required in full at the end of your appointment.

Cash (in salon)

Please note:

American Express may not be accepted in salon.

Card details are required at the time of booking to secure your appointment in line with our cancellation policy.

Any applicable cancellation or no-show fees will be charged to the card provided at booking.
